Dolce Vita sandwich

Comment: I discovered this sandwich at the Dolce Vita shop in East Mesa, Arizona. It's a small Italian grocery store that also makes the best gelato in the USA (probably) and light meals, such as paninis, including the one described here. I always make a point of stopping by when I'm in the area, and I encourage you to visit them; you won't be disappointed. Be generous with the prosciutto, but also with the Gorgonzola.

Ingredients:
------------

Panini or focaccia (or just as good, a crusty baguette)
Gorgonzola
Prosciutto crudo
Lettuce
Tomato

Preparation:
------------

Cut the baguette in half.

Spread a generous layer of Gorgonzola on one side.
Then add a good layer of prosciutto crudo.
Cover with a few lettuce leaves.
Then add a few tomato slices,
and close the sandwich.

Serve cut diagonally in half.
